Kahilu Theatre’s recently retired stage curtains have been fashioned into totes to benefit the Waimea landmark.

Kahilu Theatre’s recently retired stage curtains have been fashioned into totes to benefit the Waimea landmark.

The totes, which are fashioned from stage curtains that had been around since the Richard Smart era, are handmade by Patricia Flores, Bessie Dang and Donna Fear. Clutch, medium and large totes are available in rust orange and black.

Prices range from $15 for the clutch to $35 for the large tote. Proceeds benefit Kahilu Theatre.

Purchase a tote at the theater between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as during any show.
